Ministry Teams
Life is no easy task. Christ our Lord and Savior can bring us through. It takes Teamwork to make things happen.
Worship and Celebration Team
With the Pastor plan and implement all worship events and specials including homecoming. Supervise the preparation and service of communion as well as establishing lists of ushers and acolytes for each worship event.
Education Team
Education is about more than having Sunday school, The Church Education program is supervised by this team. The team supervises the children and youth programs, Plans educational events, recommends enhancements and appropriate materials for the classes. They also have the responsibility of training and recruiting teachers for the class sessions.
Membership Enrichment Team
This team is all about cohesion of the church family. The team plans special events that strengthen the bonds of members ,visitors, and potential members. They work with other teams to promote evolvement of everyone in the life of the church. A responsibility of the team is maintaining the church directory allowing ministry to members who are shut in, in nursing homes or hospitalized.
Outreach Team
Development of opportunities for the church to minister to others outside the church in the community is the goal of this team. Members of the team serve as liaisons for charitable and relief organizations. The education of the congregation about growing the church and planning programs to achieve that goal is part of this teams duties.
Church Facilities Team
Logistics, maintenance, and day to day activities is crucial to making things happen. This team maintains the grounds, ensures safe operations of equipment, and protect the church from the unforeseen.
